The typical variation of a stone is dependent upon the type of stone selected. No claims will be accepted after materials are fabricated or installed. We extend no guarantees; expressed or implied, as to slipperiness, wear resistance or maintenance procedures. All natural stone is subject to some wearing or scratching over time.
Shipping Damage & Shortage Claims
We constantly improve packaging as new technologies become available, nonetheless damages may still occur. Therefore,
we require that all packages be inspected by purchaser and note any damage/ shortage on delivery receipt (driver’s copy) and report to us immediately.
If damages or shortages occur on your orders / shipments, in order for us to replace item(s) at no additional cost to you, we ask you to please do your part prior to signing any delivery receipt. (We require detailed photos of the damaged merchandise and it’s packaging for claims purposes. Please obtain photos as soon as possible and contact us in the earliest possible time).
Delivery receipt is a binding contract. By signing the receipt without any notation of problem is saying that item(s) are in 100% good condition inside and out and will void out shipping insurance. All claims will be declined and no refund or replacement can be made after this point.

– Larger orders can also be sent to a trucking terminal in the buyer’s area from where the buyer can pick up the materials. Does Oracle Tile & Stone ship to residences? How does that work?

Yes. A residential delivery is considered completed once the product is placed on the driveway. Some products require a vehicle with a lift-gate, depending on weight. The pallets would be lowered to the ground and pulled onto your driveway with a pallet-jack. You may be required to unload the vehicle yourself, depending on the product. Building materials are heavy and will require proper equipment or labor to accept goods on delivery. Please check weight of goods before they are delivered so you are properly prepared. May I see the product on the pallet before I buy?

Yes, you definitely can see / investigate the products at one of our warehouses after making an appointment with us. The warehouses are located throughout Southern California and we use privately owned facilities where all products are in factory-sealed crates. Although you have an option to come see & pick up the materials you want after making an appointment, we still suggest ordering a sample and reviewing the graphics on the website for a flawless purchasing experience.

How much should I allow for breakage/damage?
A.
It is reasonable to expect anywhere from 2%-10% breakage or damage, depending on the product. If breakage is above 10%, we would ask you to have it noted on the logistics receiving document and take pictures. Please make a claim with us within 10 days of receiving the order.
